NHTSA Complaint #11526090 — 2020 FORD EDGE

The contact owns a 2020 Ford Edge. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the occupants smelled fumes in the interior of the vehicle and began to experience adverse effects. No warning lights were displayed on the instrument panel. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, who failed to determine the cause of the failure. After investigating the failure, the contact related the failure to NHTSA Campaign Number: 20V550000 (Power Train). The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the issue and a case was opened, and the contact was referred to the NHSTA Hotline. The failure mileage was 70,000.
