NHTSA Complaint #11521584 — 2018 RAM 2500

The ABS system failed on my truck while under warranty (around 12,000 miles). I took it to my closest Ram dealer and they “fixed” it by replacing the hydraulic pump associated with the ABS. Everything was fine until about 3 months ago when it failed again. I took it to my local dealer about it and they told me the same part had failed and they would fix it under hood will since it had been with in 3 years. However, after waiting 3 months for a back ordered part to come in, turns out the ABS module failed and it should have been replaced the first time, but since it was not, I am now in the hook for it. Now I am stuck with a 2018 Ram which the ABS has now failed twice within 60,000 miles. This isn’t an isolated incident talking to other Ram owners and judging by the in ability to get replacement parts and needs to be addressed. Thank you.
