NHTSA Complaint #11517433 — 2019 FORD F-150

The contact owns a 2019 Ford F-150. The contact stated that the rearview camera image was intermittently distorted while reversing. There was no warning light illuminated. The contact stated that the failure had been reoccurring increasingly and the rearview camera image had been distorted for three consecutive days. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, where it was diagnosed that the rearview camera image needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The contact related the failure to NHTSA Campaign Number: 22V252000 (Back Over Prevention); however, the VIN was not included. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 19,900.
