NHTSA Complaint #11513016 — 2017 FORD F-350

The contact owns a 2017 Ford F-350. The contact stated that on various occasions, the camera displayed a hazy and distorted image. No warning lights were illuminated. The vehicle was taken to a local dealer, where it was diagnosed that the rearview camera needed to be replaced; however, the failure could not be duplicated. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 22V644000 (Back Over Prevention). The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 55,000.
