Consumer Description

The contact owns a 2014 Ford Expedition. The contact stated that while driving at various speeds, the vehicle intermittently downshifted with several unknown warning lights illuminated. The contact restarted the vehicle before resuming normal driving. The contact took the vehicle to a dealer and was informed that there were no recalls on the VIN. The manufacturer was contacted and referred him to the NHTSA Hotline for assistance. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 70,000.
