NHTSA Complaint #11510389 — 2019 RAM 2500

RE: "If the manufacturer has failed or is unable to remedy this safety recall for your vehicle in a timely manner, please contact the NHTSA Vehicle Safety Hotline at: 1-888-327-4236 or TTY: 1-800-424-9153 or file an online complaint with NHTSA. This recall was issued in November 2022. My local dealer, Carson Dodge in Carson City, Nevada, will not honor the recall and will not fix my vehicle. I have repeatedly asked for the repair and keep getting blown off, telling me I'm on an indefinite waiting list. I insisted once to confirm I am on the waiting list and where I am at. I was told my car would be repaired in February 2023. February came and went and they still refuse to repair the car or provide a date when the repair might be possible. The fuel pump has now failed and the car has been dead in my driveway for a week and a half. I am without my primary means of transportation to get to work. Calls and emails to the service manager at Carson Dodge have been ignored and unanswered. I am reaching out to you to request assistance. The dealer will not fix the car and will not communicate with me. The car is non-operational now and will have to be towed. I desperately need my vehicle and I am respectfully requesting assistance with a recalcitrant dealership.
