The contact owns a 2014 Ford F150. The contact stated while driving 60 MPH, the steering wheel loosened without warning. The contact pulled over and turned off the vehicle. The vehicle was restarted, and the vehicle operated normally. The vehicle was taken to the dealer and the contact was informed that the vehicle was experiencing failure like NHTSA Campaign Number: 14V316000 (Steering) but the vehicle was not included in the recall. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was contacted and stated that the vehicle was not included in NHTSA Campaign Number: 14V316000 (Steering) and referred the contact to the NHTSA Hotline. The failure mileage was 192,131.
