NHTSA Complaint #11500894 — 2016 NISSAN ROGUE

The contact owns a 2016 Nissan Rogue. The contact stated while driving at various speeds, the AWD warning light illuminated. The contact restarted the vehicle and the warning light turned off. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer where there was no evidence of corrosion, but lithium grease was added after inspecting the vehicle. The vehicle was repaired but the failure recurred. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer again where it was diagnosed and determined that the wiring harness needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The contact stated the failure was related to NHTSA Campaign Number: 22V024000 (Electrical System). The manufacturer was contacted but no additional assistance was provided. The failure mileage was approximately 46,204.
