The contact called an independent mechanic who linked the failure to NHTSA Campaign Number: 16V621000 (Fuel System, Gasoline). The contact called the manufacturer who referred him to the NHTSA hotline for assistance. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 67,000.
