The contact owns a 2019 Ford F-150. The contact stated while reversing, the back-up camera image appeared distorted and was on other occasions blank. While reversing, the message "Camera not Available" was displayed and the camera image was inoperable, causing the vehicle to make contact with a trailer. The cause of the failure was not yet determined. The local dealer was notified and informed the contact that the VIN was not included in NHTSA Campaign Number: 22V252000 (Back Over Prevention). The manufacturer was not contacted. The failure mileage was 61,000.
