NHTSA Complaint #11495148 — 2015 FORD F-150

The contact owns a 2015 Ford F-150. The contact stated while driving 45 MPH, the brake pedal was depressed and went to the floor and failed to stop the vehicle as needed. The contact stated no warning light was illuminated. The contact stated he shifted to neutral and used the parking brake to stop the vehicle. The contact was able to continue driving to his residence. The contact called the local dealer and made them aware of the failure. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. Upon investigation, the contact associated the failure with NHTSA Campaign Number: 20V332000 (Service Brakes, Hydraulic) however, the VIN was not included. The manufacturer had not been informed of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 101,097.
