NHTSA Complaint #11491004 — 2014 FORD FUSION

The contact owns a 2014 Ford Fusion. The contact stated while reversing, the rearview camera activated; however, the rearview camera chime and red line alerting that the vehicle was too close to another vehicle, pedestrian or curb failed to engage. The dealer was notified of the failure and referred the contact to the manufacturer. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and referred the contact to the NHTSA Hotline. The failure mileage was unknown.
