Consumer Description
The contact owns a 2014 Ford Edge. The contact stated that upon placing the vehicle in the reverse(R) position, the rear backup camera image would intermittently be displayed upside down. The contact initially took the vehicle to the dealer and was given an estimate for a diagnostic as well as for the repair. The manufacturer was also notified of the failure and informed that the cost of the repair would not be covered under warranty. The contact was referred to the NHTSA Hotline for assistance. The vehicle had yet to be repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 100,000.
