NHTSA Complaint #11483477 — 2017 MERCEDES ROYALE SPRINTER COACH

The contact owns a 2018 Tiffin Wayfarer constructed on a 2017 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 3500 chassis. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 21V610000 (Trailer Hitches) and the vehicle was taken to the dealer for recall repair however, 3-weeks later the vehicle remained at the dealer. The contact was informed that parts to do the recall repair were not yet available. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time to for the recall repair. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue through a voicemail message. The contact had not experienced a failure. Parts distribution disconnect.
