NHTSA Complaint #11480596 — 2019 JEEP CHEROKEE

The contact owns a 2019 Jeep Cherokee. The contact stated while driving 30-35 MPH, the vehicle lost motive power. The contact was unable to veer to the side of the road and activated the hazard lights. The contact stated that he was able to restart the vehicle after approximately 25 minutes. The contact stated that the failure had been reoccurring. The vehicle was taken to the dealer who informed the contact that the vehicle could not be repaired under an unknown recall as it had already been completed on the vehicle. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure but provided no assistance. The failure mileage was approximately 55,000.
