Consumer Description

On 8/11/2022, I experience brake failure. Upon exiting a parking deck, the brake pedal went all the way to the floor of the vehicle. There was no pressure in the brake system. Each time I depressed the brake, the pedal went all the way to the floor. Fortunately, I was able to pump the brake enough to stop the vehicle. I proceeded very slowly and was able to drive to the nearest service facility. Upon inspection by Kedron Tire and Automotive (Peachtree City, GA) I was told that the brake hose on the passenger side had ruptured. They said that they had not seen this before in a late model vehicle such as mine. I had them replace both hoses, the one on the passenger and driver side. There were no warning lights or messages.
