NHTSA Complaint #11472546 — 2018 MAZDA CX-5

The contact owns a 2018 Mazda CX-5. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 21V875000 (Fuel System, Gasoline) in January of 2022 however, the part to do the recall repair was not yet available. The dealer was contacted and confirmed that parts were not yet available. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The contact stated that the engine was not stable while driving under 30 MPH. There was no warning light illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the dealer who stated that there was no failure and that the issue was normal. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and a case was opened. The contact stated that she had an arbitration hearing with the manufacturer. The manufacturer was contacted and confirmed that the parts were not available.
