Consumer Description

The contact owns a 2015 Chevrolet Equinox. The contact stated that while her husband was driving 65 MPH, the windshield wipers stopped working in a rainstorm. The contact stated that she had received NHTSA Campaign Number: 22V165000 (Visibility) in May. The dealer was contacted and informed her that parts were not yet available for the recall repair. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and a case was opened. The approximate failure mileage was 111,000. VIN tool confirms parts not available.
