Consumer Description

Yesterday as I was driving my Honda CRV at about 55 mph on a rural road, it suddenly stopped. There was NOTHING around, no other cars, animals, NOTHING! It took my speed down to about 10 mph in seconds, threw my groceries on the floor HARD. I called two different Honda dealerships and the both told me they hadn't heard any reports of this happening, yet I did a search and found that it IS an issue! The one dealership wants me to bring my car in for inspection to the tune of $139. The problem is, I no longer feel safe driving this car! Fortunately I was on a rural road and not the highway! There have been NO warning message or other symptoms prior to this. The forward collision is the issue. This car is available for inspection.
