NHTSA Complaint #11469594 — 2020 RAM 2500

The contact owns a 2020 Ram 2500. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 21V880000 (Fuel System, Diesel) and 22V140000 (Service Brakes, Hydraulic, Electronic Stability Control) however, the parts to do the recall repairs were not yet available. The local dealer was contacted and informed the contact that the recall repair of the vehicle would be completed in approximately 14 months due to parts availability issues. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue and informed the contact that they could not assist. The contact stated that the vehicle was running rough while idling. There was no warning light illuminated. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 4,000. Parts distribution disconnect.
