NHTSA Complaint #11466195 — 2015 FORD EDGE

The contact owns a 2015 Ford Edge. The contact stated that while the vehicle was in reverse, the backup camera failed to operate, with an error message to “See the Dealer” displayed on the infotainment screen. The contact took the vehicle to an independent mechanic who informed her that the failure was common and referred her to the dealer for assistance. The dealer nor the manufacturer had been notified of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 111,000.
