Consumer Description

The contact owns a 2016 Ford F-150. The contact stated that the rearview camera was not displaying a static screen. The contact stated that the display went blank. The dealer was contacted and informed the contact that the software needed to be reprogrammed. The contact learned of NHTSA Campaign Number: 22V151000 (Back Over Prevention) however, neither the VIN nor the year, make, or model was included. The vehicle had not been repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 25,000.
