NHTSA Complaint #11465166 — 2019 HONDA ODYSSEY

I purchased my 19' Odyssey in March, almost two months ago. It was used with only 19k miles. During the test drive I mentioned to the sales guy (sitting in passenger seat) a strange noise that sounded like fluttering, but only when accelerating 1k-1500k RPM. I didn't think much of it so I made the purchase. Come May 2nd I got the Oil changed (at the same dealership). I couldn't help but notice the same sound mentioned earlier, but even louder. Since then I've recorded numerous videos of the sound, also worth mentioning the speaker crackling. On Monday of this week I took the car in, showed the mechanic the video of the engine noise and speaker crackle. He mentioned he's only worked on one other odyssey with the same engine sound, resulted being the short block. After they were done, I was told by the service writer that they couldn't replicate the engine noise but did change fiber optic connectors for my speaker crackling (crackle still occurs but only on HD signal). I went over to the Service Manager and showed him the videos, we went for a drive around and heard the noise. He said to drop off the car Friday (today) and he'll have a loaner ready for me. I dropped off the van, spoke with the senior mechanic and the manager, they saw the videos and said they are going to take care of it. They wanted to test drive the car, however the sound is much louder when my car is either cold, or before reaching it's regular temps.
