The contact owns a 2014 Volkswagen CC. The contact stated while driving at an undisclosed speed, the steering became inoperable. The contact stated that while driving, the vehicle shifted hard. The steering wheel was loose. The air bag warning light was illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the same dealer where it was diagnosed that the motor mount bolt had detached from the vehicle. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure but no further assistance was provided. The approximate failure mileage was 80,000.
