Consumer Description

The contact owns a 2008 Ford Edge. The contact stated while driving approximately 5 MPH, the brake pedal was depressed and was very firm, causing the braking distance to be extended. There were no warning lights illuminated on the instrument panel. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer where it was diagnosed with brake booster failure. The vehicle was currently being repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 127,000.
