NHTSA Complaint #11439357 — 2015 CADILLAC SRX

The contact owns a 2015 Cadillac SRX. The contact stated while making a right turn and accelerating at 30 MPH, the vehicle started swaying inadvertently. There was no warning light illuminated. The contact was able to veer to the side of the road. The vehicle was towed to the dealer who diagnosed the vehicle with a suspension failure. The dealer repaired the vehicle under NHTSA Campaign Number: 21V473000 (Suspension) however, the rear tires were damaged by the defect. The dealer notified the manufacturer of the damage to the tires. The manufacturer informed the dealer that they would cover 10% of the cost of the tire replacement. The vehicle was repaired however, the tires were not replaced. The approximate failure mileage was 81,000.
