ABS actuator failed. In case of a sudden stop the anti lock brakes would not work The problem was confirmed after my brake and ABS light stayed on after suddenly coming on while I was driving. Prior to this there was no confirmation of this part being inspected or replaced on my vehicle despite a recall on all muranos 2015-2017 including my model 2016 murano hybrids.
