Consumer Description

The contact owns a 2016 Ford Explorer. The contact stated while driving 75 MPH, the windshield plastic trim piece detached from vehicle. There were no reported injuries. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer and the contact was informed that the plastic trim piece needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. While driving the other plastic trim piece detached. The manufacturer was not notified. The failure mileage was approximately 153,000.
