NHTSA Complaint #11434190 — 2008 CHRYSLER TOWN AND COUNTRY

The contact owns a 2008 Chrysler Town and Country. The contact stated that while driving at various speeds, several unknown warning lights flashed on the instrument panel as the vehicle would shut off. The contact stated that he waited for a while before being able to restart the vehicle. Upon investigation, the contact discovered NHTSA Campaign Number: 14V373000 (Electrical System, Air Bags) which he linked to the failure. The contact made an appointment with the local dealer. Upon arrival at the dealer, he was informed that the recall was already serviced prior and that he had to pay a diagnostic fee to determine the cause of the failure. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 110,000.
