NHTSA Complaint #11427991 — 2017 FORD F-350

The contact owns a 2017 Ford F-350. The contact stated that while driving onto a bridge at approximately 65 mph, the vehicle started to shake and vibrate violently causing the driver to nearly loss control of the steering wheel. During the failure, the steering wheel also vibrated and was difficult to control. The cause of the failure was not determined. The vehicle was previously serviced for the same failure and the steering sensor was replaced but the failure continued to occur. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure.
