The contact stated no warning light was illuminated. The contact stated that his son was seated in the front passenger’s seat and indicated that his head was hurting after the failure occurred but did not seek medical attention. The contact called the local dealer but had not been able to speak to anyone. The vehicle was not repaired but was pending repairs. The manufacturer had not been informed of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 152,000.
