Consumer Description

The contact owns a 2016 Dodge Journey. The contact stated while driving 30 Mph, the vehicle stalled with the check engine warning light illuminated. The vehicle was driven to an independent mechanic to be diagnosed. The contact was informed that the transmission needed to be replaced. The vehicle was then towed to a dealer and it was confirmed that the transmission had failed and needed to be replaced. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and the contact was informed that the Vin was not under recall. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was 46,600.
