Consumer Description

The contact owns a 2013 Ford Fusion. The contact stated while driving 20 mph, the vehicle failed to respond when the accelerator pedal was depressed. The contact stated that the engine coolant low service required message was displayed on the instrument panel. The vehicle was taken to the dealer and diagnosed with needing a piston to be replaced. The manufacturer was informed of the failure. The contact was informed that the VIN was not under recall. The failure mileage was approximately 120,000.
