Consumer Description
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS 2013 FORD FOCUS. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE HER MOTHER WAS DRIVING 40 MPH, THE VEHICLE SHUDDERED AND LOSS MOTIVE POWER. THE VEHICLE INDEPENDENTLY DECELERATED. THE DRIVER CONTINUED DRIVING TO THE RESIDENCE WITH THE VEHICLE CONTINUING TO SHUDDER. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO BEECHMONT FORD, INC. (600 OHIO PIKE, CINCINNATI, OH 45245, (513) 752-6611) HOWEVER, THE MECHANIC WAS UNABLE TO DUPLICATE THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NEXT TAKEN TO MIKE CASTRUCCI FORD (1020 OH-28, MILFORD, OH 45150, (513) 275-1048) HOWEVER, THE MECHANIC WAS UNABLE TO DETERMINE THE CAUSE OF THE FAILURE. THE MECHANIC PERFORMED SERVICE UNDER NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 18V735000/19V515000 (FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE) WHICH FAILED TO FIX THE VEHICLE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 220,000.
