Consumer Description

AFTER A LONG PERIOD OF TOWING (APPROXIMATELY 4000# FOR 2+ HOURS)I STOPPED FOR GAS. ON RESTART OF THE ENGINE, IT HAD A VERY ROUGH IDLE AND THERE WAS A WARNING LIGHT FOR THE AUTO START/STOP SYSTEM. IT DIED AND WOULD NOT RUN FOR MORE THAN 5 SECONDS. TO GET IT TO RUN I HAD TO KEEP IT IN NEUTRAL AND REV THE ENGINE TO APPROXIMATELY 2500RPM. IT DID NOT REPEAT THE ISSUE FOR THE REMAINDER OF THE TRIP (ANOTHER 2+ HOURS OF TOWING). THIS SITUATION WAS IN A GAS STATION BUT COULD HAVE BEEN MUCH WORSE IF IT WAS ON A PUBLIC ROAD.
