Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2011 FORD F-150. THE CONTACT STATED WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 35-40 MPH, THE HAZARD LIGHTS INDEPENDENTLY ACTIVATED, THE DOORS FAILED TO UNLOCK, AND THE WINDOWS FAILED TO ADJUST AS DESIRED. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE BATTERY HAD FAILED. THE CONTACT DISCONNECTED THE BATTERY TO STOP THE HAZARD LIGHTS FROM DRAINING THE BATTERY. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE OTHER FAILURES PERSISTED. THE VEHICLE WAS DIAGNOSED BY AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHO INFORMED THE CONTACT THAT THE BODY CONTROL MODULE NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 208,000.
