Consumer Description
TL* TAKATA RECALL. THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 CHEVROLET SILVERADO 1500. THE CONTACT RECEIVED NOTIFICATION OF NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 21V050000 (AIR BAGS) THE PART TO DO THE RECALL REPAIR WAS REPLACED ON THE PASSENGER SIDE BUT NOT THE DRIVER SIDE. LIGHTS ON DASH STILL SHOWS UP AS NEEDING SERVICE. THE CONTACT CALLED MASTER CHEVROLET (3625 RICHLAND AVE W, AIKEN, SC 29801; (803) 649-6236) WHERE IT WAS CONFIRMED THAT THE PART WAS AVAILABLE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE MANUFACTURER EXCEEDED A REASONABLE AMOUNT OF TIME FOR THE RECALL REPAIR. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE ISSUE. THE CONTACT HAD NOT EXPERIENCED A FAILURE. PARTS DISTRIBUTION DISCONNECT.
