Consumer Description

THE VEHICLE HAS TWO "TYPES" OF PROBLEM THAT MAY BE RELATED. IN SOME CASES, THE TRUCK DROPS DOWN INTO 1ST GEAR REGARDLESS OF THE SPEED. THIS HAS HAPPENED THREE TIMES SINCE I PICKED UP THE TRUCK FOLLOWING THE ATTEMPTED RECALL REPAIR, BUT NONE OF THESE INCIDENCES OF DROPPING INTO 1ST GEAR CAUSED ERROR CODES TO POP UP. IN ANOTHER "TYPE" OF INCIDENT, THE SPEEDOMETER DROPS TO ZERO EVEN WHILE IN MOTION, AND THE VEHICLE STAYS IN 3RD GEAR NO MATTER THE SPEED (INCLUDING WHEN NOT IN MOTION, EVEN AFTER SHIFTING INTO PARK AND BACK TO DRIVE, THE VEHICLE AUTOMATICALLY JUMPS TO 3RD GEAR BEFORE I EVEN START TO MOVE). DURING THIS SECOND TYPE OF INCIDENT, THE AIRBAG LIGHT CAME ON, AS DID THE WRENCH/CHECK ENGINE LIGHT. THIS SECOND TYPE OF INCIDENT TRIGGERED MANY ERROR CODES: U0401:68-48 B00A0:68-08 U0401:00-08 P0722:00-68 U0401:86-08 U0401:00-08 U0401:68-08 B1083:07-08 U0423:00-28
