Consumer Description
TL* THE CONTACT OWNED A 2007 CHEVROLET SILVERADO 1500. THE CONTACT STATED WHILE DRIVING AT 50 MPH, THE CONTACT LOST CONTROL OF THE VEHICLE AND CRASHED THE VEHICLE HEAD ON WHICH RESULTED IN NONE OF THE AIR BAGS DEPLOYING. THE CONTACT WAS THE ONE INJURED AND DID NOT SEEK MEDICAL TREATMENT. THE CONTACT SUSTAINED A HEADACHE AND SORENESS OF WHOLE BODY. THE CONTACT STATED NO WARNING LIGHT WAS ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS DESTROYED AND TOWED TO TOW LOT. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT INFORMED OF FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 135,000. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE.
