Consumer Description
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2016 GMC SIERRA 1500. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE STEERING AND SUSPENSION EITHER LOCKED UP OR WAS VERY LOOSE WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 30 MPH. ADDITIONALLY, THE STEERING EITHER CEASED OR BECAME LOOSE. THE CONTACT CONTACTED ED BOZARTH CHEVROLET COMPANY, INC. (2001 S HAVANA ST, AURORA, CO 80247, (720) 773-5338) WHO STATED THAT A SOFTWARE UPDATE NEEDED TO BE PERFORMED ON THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE HAD NOT BEEN REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE AND REFERRED THE CONTACT TO NHTSA. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 56,000.
