Consumer Description

IF A BUMP IS HIT AROUND HIGHWAY SPEEDS THERE IS UNCONTROLLABLE SHAKING OF THE STEERING WHEEL AND LOSS OF CONTROL OF THE VEHICLE. COMMONLY CALLED "DEATH WOBBLE" I AM TOLD. THIS RENDERS THE VEHICLE UNUSABLE AS IT IS NOT SAFE. FORD SAYS THEY BELIEVE A STEERING DAMPENER REPLACEMENT MAY FIX THE ISSUE BUT HAVE NO PARTS IN STOCK, NO OPTION FOR OUTSIDE PARTS, AND NO ETA FOR AVAILABILITY.
