Consumer Description

WHILE OPERATING IN BELOW FREEZING TEMPERATURES ON THE HIGHWAY, THE DIESEL EXHAUST FLUID (DEF) TANK HEATER FAILED, ALLOWING THE DEF TO FREEZE INSIDE THE TANK. WITH THE DEF FROZEN, IT WAS NOT ABLE TO BE INJECTED INTO THE EXHAUST RESULTING IN HIGHER LEVELS OF NITROGEN OXIDES (NOX) TO BE RELEASED INTO THE ATMOSPHERE THROUGH THE VEHICLES EXHAUST.
