Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2013 CHRYSLER TOWN AND COUNTRY. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE ATTEMPTING TO START THE VEHICLE, INSTRUMENT PANEL ILLUMINATED AS THE VEHICLE WAS TURNED ON HOWEVER, THE VEHICLE FAILED TO START. THE CONTACT ATTEMPTED TO START THE VEHICLE SEVERAL TIMES USING THE PUSH TO START AND MANUAL START FEATURE HOWEVER, THE VEHICLE FAILED TO START. THE CONTACT HAD THE VEHICLE TOWED TO SOUTH OAK JEEP DODGE RAM CHRYSLER (4550 LINCOLN HWY, MATTESON, IL 60443, (708) 747-7950) WHO WERE UNABLE TO IDENTIFY THE CAUSE OF THE FAILURE. THE DEALER STARTED THE VEHICLE AND THE CONTACT DROVE THE VEHICLE TO THE RESIDENCE. THE VEHICLE FAILED TO START THE FOLLOWING THREE DAYS. THE CONTACT HAD THE VEHICLE TOWED BACK TO THE SAME DEALER WHO WAS THEN UNABLE TO RESTART THE VEHICLE OR IDENTIFY THE CAUSE OF THE FAILURE. THE DEALER INFORMED THE CONTACT THAT AT TIMES THE FUEL PUMP SEEMED TO BE RUNNING WITHOUT THE VEHICLE BEING TURNED ON. THE FAILURE RECURRED INTERMITTENTLY. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 97,000.
