Consumer Description
TL* TAKATA RECALL. THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 CHEVROLET SILVERADO 1500. THE CONTACT RECEIVED NOTIFICATION OF NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBERS: 16V383000 (AIR BAGS) AND 10V240000 (ELECTRICAL SYSTEM). THE CONTACT CALLED AN UNKNOWN CHEVROLET DEALER LOCATED IN ALDRIDGE NEW JERSEY, AND IT WAS CONFIRMED THAT PARTS WERE NOT YET AVAILABLE FOR THE RECALL REPAIRS. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE MANUFACTURER EXCEEDED A REASONABLE AMOUNT OF TIME FOR THE RECALL REPAIR. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE ISSUE AND WAS NOT ABLE TO CONFIRM WHEN PARTS WOULD BE AVAILABLE. THE CONTACT HAD NOT EXPERIENCED A FAILURE. VIN TOOL CONFIRMS PARTS NOT AVAILABLE FOR 16V383000 (AIR BAGS) AND PARTS DISTRIBUTION DISCONNECT FOR 10V240000 (ELECTRICAL SYSTEM). *BF*JB
