Consumer Description

BRAKE BOOSTER RECALL SYMPTOMS DESCRIBED IN PUBLICIZED NOTICES, INCLUDING ON THIS WEBSITE, ARE WHAT I AM CURRENTLY EXPERIENCING ON MY FORD EDGE. CAR TAKES LONGER TO STOP AND BRAKING SYSTEM FEELS SOFT. ADDITIONALLY, THE ADVANCETRAC WARNING SYSTEM LIGHT ILLUMINATES ON OCCASION WHEN CAR IS IN PARK FOR 10-20 MINUTES WITHOUT MOVING, WITH ENGINE RUNNING. PER THE FORD FORUM, THIS IS A COMMON PROBLEM THAT DOES NOT SEEM TO HAVE A SOLUTION FROM FORD. I HAVE LOST CONFIDENCE THE FORD IS INTERESTED OR ABLE TO REMEDY EITHER OF THESE ISSUES. I AM AFRAID TO DRIVE IT NOW THAT BRAKING ISSUE STARTED TODAY.
