Consumer Description
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2016 FORD FUSION. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE IN REVERSE, HIS DAUGHTER WAS UNABLE TO SHIFT THE TRANSMISSION SHIFTER. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO THE LOCAL DEALER MOUNTAIN VIEW FORD LOCATED AT 301 E 20TH ST, CHATTANOOGA, TN 37408, WHO DIAGNOSED THAT THE TRANSMISSION SHIFTER CABLE WAS DEFECTIVE AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT YET REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE AND INFORMED THE CONTACT THAT THE VEHICLE WAS NOT INCLUDED IN THE NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 19V362000 (POWER TRAIN). THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE HAD EXPERIENCED THE SAME FAILURE LISTED IN THE RECALL. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 103,000.
