Consumer Description

WHILE DRIVING ON LOCAL ROADS THE STEERING WHEEL STARTS SHAKING, THE FRONT WHEELS ARE WOBBLING AND CAUSING THE TRUCK TO BECOME UNSTABLE. IN ORDER TO MAINTAIN CONTROL I HAVE TO SLOW THE VEHICLE DOWN UNTIL THE WOBBLING STOPS. IT SEEMS TO HAPPEN ON VERY SMOOTH AND FLAT HIGHWAYS. IT FIRST HAPPENED AROUND TWO YEARS AFTER I BOUGHT THE TRUCK NEW BUT I DIDN'T THINK IT WAS AN ISSUE AS IT ONLY HAPPENED ON ONE CERTAIN STRETCH OF ROAD THAT I TRAVELED OCCASIONALLY. IN THE LAST YEAR IT HAS STARTED HAPPENING MORE AND MORE OFTEN CAUSING ME CONCERN THAT THE TRUCK COULD BECOME UNCONTROLLABLE. THE TRUCK HAS BEEN WELL MAINTAINED AND HAS NEVER BEEN USED OFF ROAD OR HAULED/PULLED HEAVY LOADS. THE STOCK SUSPENSION IS NOT MODIFIED/LIFTED.
