Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2014 FORD FUSION. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING AT VARIOUS SPEEDS, THE VEHICLE LOSS MOTIVE POWER AND STALLED WITHOUT WARNING. THE VEHICLE WAS RESTARTED AND OPERATED NORMALLY. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO 5 STAR FORD LOCATED AT 900 RUSSELL PKWY, WARNER ROBINS, GA 31088, TO BE DIAGNOSED. THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE FUEL TANK SENSOR AND PURGE VALVE WERE DEFECTIVE AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 85,000.
