Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2014 CHEVROLET IMPALA. THE CONTACT STATED WHILE DRIVING AT AN UNDISCLOSED SPEED, THE SERVICE BLIND SPOT DETECTION SYSTEM MESSAGE DISPLAYED ON THE INSTRUMENT PANEL. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE FAILURE CAUSED BLIND SPOTS TO THE DRIVER'S AND PASSENGER'S SIDE OF THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO DUNN CHEVROLET (3000 DUSTIN ROAD, OREGON, OH 43616) TO BE DIAGNOSED. THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE SIDE DETECTION MODULE AND WIRING HARNESS NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 127,500.
