Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 TOYOTA CAMRY. THE CONTACT STATED WHILE DRIVING 30 MPH, THE VEHICLE MADE AN ABNORMAL NOISE, AND THE STEERING BECAME LOOSE WHICH CAUSED THE VEHICLE TO PULL TO THE RIGHT AND LEFT. THERE WAS NO WARNING LIGHT ILLUMINATED. THE CONTACT REFERENCED THE FAILURE TO NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 15V144000 (STEERING). THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO TOM WOOD TOYOTA (6408 CRANE DR, WHITESTOWN, IN 46075) WHERE THE MECHANIC WAS UNABLE TO DUPLICATE THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 45,000. Loud humming sound coming out of steering.
